Course Content:

Architecture and Design:

• Understand enterprise network design principles, including hierarchical network design, modularization, and redundancy. • Design scalable Layer 2 and Layer 3 infrastructures for campus and branch networks. • Design WAN connectivity and select appropriate technologies for different scenarios. • Design network services such as high availability, quality of service (QoS), multicast, and network security.


• Configure and troubleshoot virtual switching and routing technologies, including virtual LANs (VLANs), virtual routing and forwarding (VRF), and virtual switching system (VSS). • Implement and optimize network overlays, such as VXLAN and EVPN, for data center and campus environments. • Design and implement network virtualization using technologies like Virtual Device Context (VDC) and Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF). • Infrastructure: • Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 technologies, including Ethernet, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and EtherChannel. • Configure and troubleshoot Layer 3 technologies, including IP addressing, routing protocols (such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP), and multicast. • Implement and optimize network services, including Network Address Translation (NAT), DHCP, and First Hop Redundancy Protocols (FHRPs).
